Suck it Up, Buttercup

Screen Shot 2018-01-29 at 2.01.55 PM

A 2017 graduate of the COMM program at UWGB, Morgan Theobald offered some Free – and Most Excellent Advice – to students in the program today:  “Don’t just go to class,” she said as she shared some of her Real World experiences after graduation.  “You need to be present.”

Theobald was good enough – and present enough – to turn what she learned into three great internships and two, full-time jobs – so far.  She knows of what she speaks. She believes the skill set she acquired while attending UWGB helped her get, and then succeed, in every job she’s had in her budding career.

“Be present in class.  I mean, pay attention and soak in as much as possibly because these are things you WILL use in the real world.”

Good Luck, Buttercup.

COMM Major Amanda Leick will graduate with a BS in Communication with emphasis in Public Relations and a Human Development.
