Main Housing Parking Lot Being Closed down on March 12th

The University of Wisconsin Green Bay is finally in the process of constructing a new residence hall for the 2024 school year. As exciting as this may sound, the University has decided to close the main housing lot on campus for the rest of the spring semester, causing a lot of problems for UW-Green Bay students.

Radio GBX is up and running for the Spring 2023 semester at The University of Wisconsin – Green Bay. Radio GBX offers students hands-on experience with brand-new radio equipment and opportunities to produce original content. The station plays 24 hours a day, 7 days a week online on Live365’s website.

Students Enjoy Time With Therapy Dogs

On Monday, March 6th, 2023, the University of Wisconsin – Green Bay (UWGB) Good Times Programming hosted Pause for Paws. The event took place during a two-hour window, allowing UWGB students to interact with a number of therapy dogs. With spring break on the horizon and midterms in full effect, Pause for Paws was a “howling” success among the student body.

COMM Week Preparation

COMM Week is just around the corner, from April 3rd-6th at the University of Wisconsin – Green Bay. As a student-run event that lasts multiple days, COMM Week offers plenty of opportunities both for those participating in competitions and those helping to put it on. COMM Week features events throughout the week leading up to competitions and a banquet on the final day. 

The Kress Events Center Celebrates a Huge Milestone

March 2 marked a milestone day at the Kress Events Center. The Horizon League Quarterfinal matchup between the Wright State Raiders and Green Bay Phoenix had plenty of storylines, but it was an underlying story that had yet to surface: the game coincided with the 250th women’s basketball game played in the arena.
