With University of Wisconsin-Green Bay (UWGB) students gearing up for finals, some students found a way to unwind before the stressful week by making their own miniature zen garden.

UW-Green Bay Offers Multiple Events Regarding Sexual Assault Prevention, Including Bringing Author and Motivational Speaker Kaitlyn Kenealy to campus

Serious topics are being addressed at UW-Green Bay, and students have thoughts. April marks sexual assault awareness month to keep people talking about an issue that affects “1 out of every 6 American women”. (RAINN, 2020). Many take part in this month and provide events that educate people on these serious topics. 

Students Enjoy Time With Therapy Dogs

On Monday, March 6th, 2023, the University of Wisconsin – Green Bay (UWGB) Good Times Programming hosted Pause for Paws. The event took place during a two-hour window, allowing UWGB students to interact with a number of therapy dogs. With spring break on the horizon and midterms in full effect, Pause for Paws was a “howling” success among the student body.

Pi Beta Phi and Pancakes

The University of Wisconsin – Green Bay is full of promotional events, but one sorority is attempting to open the floodgates to members. With a little bit of syrup and batter, their event PJ’s and Pancakes is looking to draw in some students who have a craving for pancakes and a knack for philanthropy. 

Performing to Peers

Open Mic Night was started years ago, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the event was put on pause. Now in its second year back on UW-Green Bay’s campus, Student Engagement at UW-Green Bay is looking forward to increasing attendance for the upcoming Open Mic Night.
