What to do in a crisis?  Janet Bonkowski, Director of Communications and Marketing knows.  Last night, she offered great insights to the Public Relations Student Society of America, and provided a unique, behind the scenes look at what to do when a crisis begins – and after it ends.

“Crisis is not for everybody, but for those who do, it gets your adrenaline going. It really does. And it takes a special skill set to be able to do it right – and to do it well.”
– Janet Bonkowski

Twenty five years in corporate communication, including working with the giant trucking firm Schneider National, Janet has dealt with everything from police standoffs to the “Marijuana Motherload” crisis.

Rosie O’Shea is Vice President of PRSSA.
