“Dear” COVID…

letter
“Dear” COVID-19,

Well, well, well. You’ve sure made a big impact, huh? Back in early March, life was good, dare I say, great! I was getting ready to graduate, planning my June wedding, preparing for my bridal shower, and working a great job. Then you showed up. People all around the world started getting sick and the panic set in.

Because of you, COVID-19, everything has changed. The new “normal” now includes copious amounts of hand sanitizer, hoarding toilet paper, video calls instead of hugs, and constant anxiety.

I’m not here to yell at you or tell you that I hate you. I’m here to vent my feelings and hopefully speak for everyone when I say, “Please go away!”
