A gentle reminder for COMM Majors & Minors: We’re STILL accepting applications for five Spring 2020 COMM Scholarships including:
Green Bay Media Scholarship
$750 to a sophomore, a junior or a senior; see link below.
Craig A. Mueller Communication Scholarship
Individual student scholarships from $500-to-$1,000 depending on the strengths of candidate.
Althea Steele Lederer Scholarship
$350 to one student majoring in Art or Journalism; preference given to the physically disabled.
Ralph R. Stein Memorial Scholarship
$220 to one student majoring in COMM.
Charlie Leonard Memorial Endowed Scholarship for Communication
$600 to one student majoring in COMM. This is a renewable award so long as student maintains a 3.0 GPA.
To apply, you need:
1.) An unofficial transcript from SIS in Word or PDF. If you do not know how to access this for free on SIS, visit this LINK:
2.) An up-to-date professional resume in Word or PDF.
3.) Professionally-written essays for the scholarships that require them (Lederer and Stein).
When you have these materials, go HERE, and apply by clicking on the link provided on that page. This will take you to a quick Qualtrics survey that should only take a few minutes to complete; you then upload your materials within the survey.
You must plan on attending at least one additional semester past the current one to receive the funds; scholarship funds can be used on books, tuition, or any other education-related expenses. Your applications must be received no later than 11:59 PM Friday, April 17. Late submissions not accepted.
If you receive a scholarship, you’ll be notified later in April.
