Spring is the best time to clean and organized. Unfortunately, we’re all a little too familiar with procrastination (finals prep anyone?). So to make things a little easier, we developed a comprehensive checklist to help you tackle spring-cleaning!
Kitchen
- Clean oven and stove
- Clean out garbage disposal and sink
- Clean dishwasher
- Clean and empty out fridge/freezer
- Wipe down cabinets and clean counters
- Clean up small appliances
- Garbage and recycling bins
- Wipe down table and chairs
- Clean out pantry
Bedroom
- Wash your sheets/bedding
- Clean your closet and dresser/get rid of clothes
- Go through bedside table/knick knacks
- Organize your desk
Living Room
- Vacuum couch and other upholstery
- Clean television and tv remote
Bathroom
- Scrub shower and clean your shower curtain
- Clean toilet
- Take care of any drains
- Clean sink and counters
Car
- Wipe down surfaces with care safe cleaners
- Vacuum off seats and floors
- Wash car mats
- Clean out trunk and glove box
- Wash the exterior of your car
Computer
- Compressed air your keys
- Wipe off your screen with an LCD safe cleaner
- Take off any case you have and wipe it down
- Delete any old, unnecessary files to clear your computer of space
Phone
- Go through/backup photos
- Clean your case
- New screen protector
- Get rid of apps or games you never use
The rest of the house
- Clean your keys
- Door knobs
- Sweep your garage
- Clean windows
- Clean light fixtures/ceiling fans
- Clean rugs
- Clean lampshades
- Home gym equipment
- Clean ceiling fans
- Vacuum
- Dusting
- Mop floors
- Clean mirrors
- Wash curtains and blinds
- Clean washing machine and dryer
- Indoor plants
