How do you make yourself shine in a sea of other applicants? Will you sink or swim? The Senior Citizens are here to help you craft a great resume!

Resumes are one of the most important tools you have in your belt when looking for a job. The key is to ‘sell’ YOU! Resumes are a great way to highlight your accomplishments, qualifications and give a condensed blurb about yourself to make employers go: “WOW – that’s interesting!” Here’s some tips to help you stand out in the crowd.

Tools to help you create a successful resume:

  1. Try to find a balance between creativity and cleanliness. Unless the position you are applying for is an artistic position, don’t go too crazy with the design.
  2. Don’t be excessive: For college students, 2 pages should be the maximum.
  3. Use eye catching adjectives: boring language will get you nowhere
