UWGB Thoughts on Packers Offseason

After trading away Aaron Rodgers last season, the Green Bay Packers were primed to let Jordon Love take the helm of the new Packers’ future. All the questions were whether or not Love could be Rodgers’ successor. Love put the questions aside, leading the Packers to an NFC Divisional game in the playoffs. After a successful season, the Packers put themselves in Super Bowl talks. Before the season gets going, the Packers have used this offseason to get valuable pieces to help the team out, but they have also lost some pieces. The Packers will also look to the draft to help bolster their young team.

The University Recreation (UREC) Intramurals at the University of Wisconsin Green Bay has provided students the ability to play hard, have fun and lead for all. They promote well-being in the UW-Green Bay community and provide an atmosphere where all are welcome, no matter the competitive level.

The University of Wisconsin Mens Basketball Team is looking to start anew with Sundance Wicks. After firing the previous coach, UWGB is looking to Wicks to help the Phoenix rise again.

The Kress Events Center Celebrates a Huge Milestone

March 2 marked a milestone day at the Kress Events Center. The Horizon League Quarterfinal matchup between the Wright State Raiders and Green Bay Phoenix had plenty of storylines, but it was an underlying story that had yet to surface: the game coincided with the 250th women’s basketball game played in the arena.
