College students are known for bulking up on cheap carbs, usually Ramen. Since ramen has been explored and experimented with thoroughly for what seems like forever, it’s time to explore a fun alternative: Mac and Cheese. With winter fast approaching, it’s time to consider ways to change up your favorite comfort food. 

Here are 15 of the best ways to spice up your Mac!

  • Meat: bacon, hot dogs, beef, chicken, ham, turkey, seafood
  • Chili fixins
  • Ranch
  • Hot sauce
  • Ketchup
  • Veggies: peas, broccoli, spinach, mushrooms, tomatoes
  • Onions and peppers
  • Garlic and Onion salt or powder
  • Black pepper
  • Herbs: basil, parsely, dill, cilantro
